Wedding Inspiration – Brackenridge in Martinborough

Photography and words by the lovely Jo Moore.

Olivia arrived in her Dad’s beloved green Vauxhall. Ranger (their larger dog) was on video duties capturing Olivia walking down the aisle via GoPro attached to his back ( or at least that was the intention!)
The rings crafted by Village Goldsmith were presented on a cushion sewn from the same pjs as the heart in Olivia’s dress. The cushion was then placed on a chair that sat at the front of the aisle – just for Olivia’s Dad.

Whilst the guests celebrated the newly weds, the Bridal Party and I headed in a line of vintage cars to a private location.
The creative shoot was ridiculously fun and I felt like a child in a candy store. Not only did I have an amazing location of autumn hued trees but I was photographing a group of friends who loved to laugh. A photographer’s dream.

Heading back to Brackenridge we entered a gorgeous reception room with sparkly golden runners, candles and twinkling fairy lights.
Signs around the venue showcased Olivia and Raul’s brilliant humour with “Dance Floor Rules – ‘dance offs’ should take place where appropriate….but often”, “Smoking is gross but we still love you”. All designed by the talented Lauren Armitt Graphic Designer.

I left Brackenridge that evening exhausted but with a lovely feeling of being part of something magical. All the details of this wedding were so well considered to create a wedding that truly reflected the personalities of Olivia and Raul and to bring all their friends and family together in a big warm embrace of a celebration.
