I am a registered wedding celebrant living in the beautiful Wairarapa.
My commitment is to provide a personalised, professional and positive experience with a collaborative approach to gain a full understanding of what is important to you. I will adapt to your needs, assist and guide you to create a ceremony that reflects you as a couple. I have excellent communication skills, am personable, engaging and experienced in working with people across a wide demographic. My calm nature allows me to adapt quickly and positively to any situation.
I am happy to travel to meet you, marry you in a venue of your choice, at the same time keeping it affordable.
I welcome the opportunity to work with you to ensure your special day is memorable.

"Sam and I cannot thank you enough for all you did on our big day but also on the lead up to the big day! We had a tonne of compliments on how it was ‘the best wedding people had been to’ and this was even pre booze/food.. but my favourite comment was ‘it was the best ceremony they had been to because it felt like Laura and Sam’! “Wendy you guided us towards our wedding day with the right levels of enthusiasm and professionalism. You gave us all the information we needed to prepare ourselves and gently reminded us about what was needed as the day neared. The rehearsal was low key but informative. On the day, you were a calming presence for myself, and Rebecca’s nerves were stilled as soon as she came to the front.
You encouraged us to make the ceremony our own through our personal story, which we did. But without the perfect tones that you delivered it to the ceremony in, it wouldn’t have had the emotional impact that it achieved for both us as a couple, and our assembled family and friends. You are without a doubt, a celebrant of the highest quality and a “special” person on one of our greatest days.
